MANNHAI Temporarily Joined By Former AMORPHIS Singer
April 20, 2005Finnish "stoner rockers" MANNHAI have issued the folowing update on their current European tour:
"Hello, you fuckers! Our German tour with THE AWESOME MACHINE started last week, and we've had a blast roaming across this beautiful country so far. Still, we got some weird news to all of you guys. For numerous reasons (with none of them related to the rest of the band),Trond Skog, the guy who've done the vocal duties so far, has left the tour yesterday, april 19th. We will be temporarily joined by an old friend of ours from Finland, called Pasi 'Ruoja' Koskinen (ex-AMORPHIS, current AJATTARA & SHAPE OF DESPAIR member). We will welcome Pasi with open arms, as that guy is doing an amazing favour for us, for the tour-agency, for the touring staff, and for our good friends from Sweden, THE AWESOME MACHINE (those guys rule in a big way!!!).
"We want to thank all the people who appeared to the gigs so far. MANNHAI as a band is currently rocking harder and heavier than ever and we are enjoying every single day on this tour. Exact details about the situation is coming up a bit later...
MANNHAI's third album, "The Exploder", was released in April 2004 through Ranch Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Evil Under the Sun" was mixed at Soundtracks studio in Helsinki with producer Jürgen Hendlmeier (FLAMING SIDEBURNS, MUTANTS) and was mastered by Björn Engelmann at the Cutting Room in Stockholm.
